Out of the Sea Walks a Woman
Not man, but a woman.
Woman with a womb
Combing the sea, she sees
In retrospect she looks
Afro salt water drenched
Skin glistening sea salt
Beautiful and bronze
White dove overhead
Noon ascending rapidly
Sun-kissed ashy she is
Me her first brother
She my first sister
My other self

I cannot speak for my poetry, my poetry must speak for itself.
