Under Cloak of an Oath
In darkness is heard a whisper.
In darkness comes echo
I answer it as a da capo
Under cloak of an oath I promise
To never bring it to light
As this darkness swaddles me
My mother’s womb warm
My mother is my mother
//
In darkness comes another whisper
In darkness comes thunder
A momentary flash of lightening
I did not answer quickly
After birth and before my death
All will be made known
My silence is deafening
My silence is staid

I cannot speak for my poetry, my poetry must speak for itself.
