Thoughts About Me Being Ethnic
I will not think of myself any less than I must. My ethnicity is what it is. I am ethnic. An online dictionary states, “of or belonging to a population group or subgroup….” Must is not a predicate for me to be a denominator. I am an enumerated ethnicity. To say so among numerators would be toxic. Nonetheless, toxicity is warranted and merited, given how warrants are issued for ethnics every day; in parts of the world, enumerated ethnicity results in ethnic cleansing, as if ethnics are biohazards. Numerators enumerate such ideology, fanning the sentiments of supremacy. I’m sober, of sound mind. I will not think of myself any less than I must. My ethnicity is what it is. I am ethnic.

I cannot speak for my poetry, my poetry must speak for itself.
