To Ponder a Word

To ponder a word                            requires nigh revelation
Wherefrom comes lightly breaded             wisdom
Wherein               darkened clouds are brought low
Lesser known women have come                              to know so

Give a woman    a book                  and demand she read
May her mind find no time                           to loathe screed
Demand               unknown words                               she lift from press
Until revelation be    at her           harlequin’s behest
