Pendelton Whiskey Men

pulled by forces imposed upon contrary
legions of legends fell because of hypocrisy
rise up you the sedentary
since when have ghosts been bound
by forced upon gravity and
consider for the moment the following
there sits that angry moon
posturing beyond the darkened horizon
drink yourself silly Pendleton Whiskey men
and foolishly rail against your women
at the hands of your drunken violence
then pay attention to the narrator of this poem
for your women would have killed you by now
if not for the fact that
they love you more than self-respect

I cannot speak for my poetry, it must speak for itself.
